2008 : Chi Minh PHAM, its founder is powerless to do anything about the care interruptions suffered by his mother, who has become daily dependent on home care services.
2011 : care providers fail 40% of scheduled visits, according to an official study by a local authority.
2013 : the platform is online and open to users (seniors and families) with independent caregivers. Care providers (employers of caregivers) turn against the platforme's use, the oversight of care interruptions, the notification of seniors via SMS, and the care continuity provided by independent caregivers.
2016 : After three years of developing protocols between users and caregivers, the YouTime company was created to offer local authorities services including : real-time oversight of care interruptions, SMS notifications for seniors, and replacement with certified independent caregivers. These activities are automated through the digitalization of the relationship between users and caregivers.
2023 : After six years of unsuccessful attempts to gain traction with French local authorities, the French company YouTime has been dissolved. Free access for users and independent caregivers has been closed.
2026 : the platform is offered to governments and local authorities and care providers worldwide, through new YouTime companies.

But the structural lack of detection of missed visits remains the Achilles' heel of policies supporting independence : the interruptions remain invisible, unreported, and unreplaced.
Luckily, ensuring that every funded visit actually takes place is the exclusive expertise of the YouTime team.
